Why do movie theatres still use the film roll and projection?
Why not just use DVD’s and screens and not projectors, wouldnt it be cheaper?
The Quality isn’t there. They are phasing in Digital projectors but it’s only recently that Digital got good enough to look good on a Movie Screen. A DVD looks great on a tv and good on a HDTV it would look really crappy on a Big Screen.
