What is recommended for a portable gaming system?

I’m not really into games, but I need to pickup a portable system and I’m not sure what to get. Should I get something like the Nintendo DS? What about the Lite since its only $109 used at Gamestop.

i would get the psp u can have videos, music, and play games with it.
