Is a contrast ratio of 400:1 bad for a home projector? Sanyo PLC-WXU10?
Was considering buying the Sanyo PLC-WXU10 to use as a moderate movie-watching, gaming projector? What do you guys think?
Depends on your definition of bad. It should be fine. Just make sure your room is VERY DARK. Projectors hate ambient light. This projector looks to be a few years old. Epson Powerlite Home Cinemas are good, I have one —or maybe BenQ if your on a budget. It all depends on how much you want to spend and how much resolution you want. It looks like it will do 1080i but not 1080p. I’ve attached links.
